Includes the Pictured Fasteners.

Design Features :

1) Mount any Chevrolet Style Thermostat Housing, Expansion Tank, Coolant Manifold, etc. onto a Traditional Pontiac Intake Manifold / Water Crossover.

2) 9/16" Thick and Utilizes a Standard Pontiac Gasket on the Bottom and a Standard Chevrolet Gasket on the Top.

(Contains Two Separate Coolant Passages.)

Cooling System Improvements:

** Designed to Enable the User to Control and Redirect Engine Coolant Circulation. **

1) Plumb Additional Center (When Utilized) and Rear Cylinder Head "Coolant Outlet" Lines into this Water Outlet Manifold above the Restrictor that'll be Located in Place of the Thermostat in the Factory Coolant/Water Crossover.

2) Eliminate Coolant Flow Turbulence in the Factory Coolant/Water Crossover caused by Plumbing the Additional/Auxiliary Coolant Lines from the Heads into the Rear of the Factory Coolant/Water Crossover.

3) Control the Flow of Coolant from the Front & Rear Areas of the Engine Separately.

4) Traditional Pontiac Specific Bolt Pattern and Utilizes a Traditional Pontiac Thermostat Housing.

( It Mounts on Top of this Piece.)

5) Bolt on Installation. No Welding Required.

Water - Coolant Outlet Restrictors

"Fits in Place of the Thermostat in Racing Applications"

Made from 6061-T6 / 16-Gauge Aluminum.

Clear Coat Anodized for Corrosion Protection.

Controls the Volume of Coolant Exiting the Front of the Cylinder Heads Only. Used with Our Coolant/Water Outlet Manifold.

Technical Notes :

1) Unlike the Standard Moroso and Mr.Gasket Restrictors on the Market, these are Designed & Sized, when Used with Seperate Coolant Circulation Lines, to Restrict the Coolant Flow from the Front of the Cylinder Heads Only !!

2) These are Designed to be used in Conjuction with Two Coolant Lines that are Plumbed & Routed from the Rear, or "Center & Rear" of the Cylinder Heads to a Point above this Restrictor. Such as into the Two Ports in our Water Outlet Manifold.

3) Our Restrictors are 16-Gauge/0.050" Thick. The other Brands are 18-Gauge/0.040" Thick.

This Adapter can be used with a Thermostat or with a Coolant Outlet Restrictor.

This Manifold is Intended for Racing Applications.

Use of a Coolant Outlet Restrictor is Required.

Central Water - Coolant Manifold

** Centrally Located "Under Intake" Design **

Design Features :

1) Small Overall Size for Ease of Installation under the Intake Manifold.

2) Plumb One Coolant Outlet Hose from the Rear of the Cylinder Head and One Coolant Outlet Hose from the Center of the Cylinder Head to the Inlet Ports and Plumb the Outlet Hose to the Coolant/Water Outlet Manifold # WOM-1.

(Or Equivalent)

3) Uses Aeroquip Socketless (Or Equivalent Push Lock) Hoses on the -8 (1/2") Inlet and -10 (5/8") Outlet Ports to Eliminate the need for Multiple AN Style Hose Fittings.

4) Internal "Intersecting Coolant Passages" are Angled to Assist Coolant Flow Through the Manifold by Reducing Internal Turbulence.

Tech Tip :

Allowing the Coolant to Flow from the Rear of the Cylinder Heads to the Front Coolant Crossover Area Helps to Eliminate Steam Pockets (Hot Spots) in the Cylinder Heads. Therefore Head Gaskets, Valve Seats, Piston Rings and Pistons Last Longer due to more Consistent Combustion Chamber Temperatures and a Reduction in Unwanted Detonation.
